Last year we had a fantastic combination of floats, walkers and bands in the procession as we celebrated our 30th carnival. We hope you enjoyed the procession along the Carnival Route (shown below) and followed the procession down to Carnival Field for a fun-filled afternoon……Now its time to do it all again for our 31st Carnival!
This year we have 19 vehicles, including 10 floats together 12 walking group which include 3 walking bands!
Carnival Route
Astwood Bank Carnival procession starts from Church Rd at around 12.30pm.
Pre-Assembly Route
The Pre-assembly Route shown on map in blue is the way all floats, tractors, steam etc will arrive to join the start of the procession.
Pre-assembly will commence at 12 noon, leaving Carnival Field and arriving at Church Road in time for the start of the full procession at 12:30 pm. The bands will join at the middle school.
Main Carnival Route
With all participants having joined at Church Road, the procession will start and follow the route, shown in blue on the map below, and make it’s way to Carnival Field.

The route is as follows:
- Head southwest on Church Rd toward Popes Ln
- Turn left onto Castle St
- Turn left onto Feckenham Rd
- Take the 2nd right onto High St
- Turn left onto Hoopers Ln
- Slight left onto Chestnut Rd
- Turn left onto Ave Rd
- Turn right onto Evesham Rd/A441
- Turn right onto Edgioake Ln/B4092
- Turn right in SE Davis & Son Ltd
