Everything you need to know for attending Carnival Day 2023

Astwood Bank Carnival Day is Saturday 8th July 2023.

Procession 12 – 2pm

Carnival Celebrations and Entertainment 2pm – 5pm

S.E. Davis Yard, Sandhills Farm, Edgioake Lane, Astwood Bank B96 6BG

This years theme is, Astwood Bank Goes to the Movies.

Parking

There is on site Parking at the Carnival Show Ground, S.E Davis Yard. Please do not park on the roads around and leading up to the Carnival Show Ground. This is to ensure the safe passage and movement of the Procession, those attending the Show Ground on foot, as well as the vitally important accessibility of Emergency and Blue Light Services.

Accessibility

The On-Site Parking for Carnival Day does accommodate for some Disabled Parking, this is allocated on a first come, first served basis and is not bookable in advance.

Vehicle and Pedestrian Access

There are two separate entrances to the Carnival Field, one for Vehicle Access and the other for Pedestrians, this is to ensure the safety of all attendees on Carnival Day

Road Closures and Procession Route

⛔️ROAD CLOSURES⛔️

Road Closures will be in place 12noon – 2pm through and around Astwood Bank

Saturday 8th July

This is to allow the Astwood Bank Carnival Process to move safely through the village for all participants and spectators.

The Procession route will follow:

Edgioake Lane, Evesham Road, Church Road, Castle Street, Hight Street, Hoopers Lane, Chestnut Road, Avenue Road, Evesham Road and Edgiokae Lane.

🚗Please ensure all vehicles are moved from the roads🚗

This is to allow easy access and manoeuvrability of the Lorry’s and large vehicles, as well as making Emergency Blue Light Service access as swift and safe as possible.
