** WE NEED YOU **You all know about the events and activities that we put on for the community over the year, and I think you all know that this is done entirely by volunteers.We are on the search for more volunteers from the local community who would be willing to help us out on events, and particularly on Carnival Weekend.Being a volunteer doesn’t mean giving up all your time, just the time that you do have, and offering the skills and help that you can.This can really be anything from giving an hour to help lay out tables and chairs, to making cups of tea, coffee and squash for people. Delivering leaflets to the houses on your street or giving an hour to help put away tables and chairs.Literally every set of hands helps, and many hands make light work!If you can give the time, we could really use your help.Drop an email to chair@astwoodbankcg.co.uk to say hi, and how you would be able to help.All our appreciation, The Astwood Bank Community Group.
