We have joined with RSPB and the Wildlife Trust to support the nesting of Swifts.

Since 2021, Swifts have been on the Red List of Birds of Concern.

There have been sightings in Astwood Bank and we would love to see them nesting here.

There will be a representative of the SPB and the Wildlife Trust at the meeting, as well as the fabulous Astwood Bank in Bloom team.

We can look at nest sites, how to encourage nesting, a workshop on making next boxes and planning for a Swift Walk in June to check on numbers.
