11am Sunday 14th November
The Royal British Legion will lead Astwood Bank in this year’s Remembrance Day Service.
A church service will be held at 10:00. This service will be streamed via the Astwood Bank Community Group Facebook Page for those unable to attend the Church.
Space in the church will be limited due to COVID restrictions however we do have a PA system provided by the community group in the church yard for those who wish to come along and participate but cannot get inside
The Parade will be led by the Air Training Corps Band, with a contingent of Air Cadets, and for the first time a contingent of Army Cadets as well as the Scouts and Guides out in force.
The Royal British Legion invite the community to join them for this year’s Memorial Service at 11am at the War Memorial on the Evesham Road.
The parade will leave the church just after 10:30 and the service at the war memorial will start at 10;45 they should therefore be in position by 10:30 to get the best experience
Road Closures will be in place from the Church to The Bell Pub on the Evesham Road from 10:30 – 11:30 am.
**It is requested that cars be moved from the roads and paths around the memorial prior to the service at 11am**
*Diversions will be in place via Studley/the slough*
