2018 Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Monday 2nd April 2018, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

Where: Church Hall, Church Road, Astwood Bank.

Following the success of last year’s event The Easter Bunnies are making a return visit to Astwood Bank this year, with even more fun lined up than last year’s event.

Taking place on Easter Monday (2ndApril) between 10:00 and 16:00, registration is at the Church Hall on Church Road, Astwood Bank, and only costs £2.50 per child. As well as a colouring competition and refreshments available in the Church Hall, there will also be the opportunity to enter this year’s Astwood Bank in Bloom’s Sunflower competition for free, with seeds and compost being kindly donated by Botany Bay Nurseries. The Easter Egg hunt will take you around the village to discover the clues, and remember all children will win a prize. When you are out on your hunt don’t forget to keep your eyes wide open to see if you can spot a very special Easter Bunny who will be looking out for you!

We managed to catch up with the Easter Bunny recently and he told us “This was such a great success last year that I just had to make sure that I could be there and make sure all of the children could solve the clues and get one of my delicious Easter Eggs. I’m really looking forward to a busy day.”

So whether you are just young, or young at heart, this will be another fun day for all of the community to get involved with, so bring the kids, bring the grandchildren, or just bring yourself.

The event is being organised by the Astwood Bank Carnival team with great support from the St Matthias and St George church.
